Day 01:: Dehradoon (Helicopter) – Kharsali (Pony) – Yamunotri (Pony) – Kharsali / Janki Chatti

Today's Sight -
Yamunotri, First of The Chardham: Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is the source of revered river Yamuna which originates from the Champasar Glacier lying 1 Km. Ahead of the shrine situated at an elevation of 3235 mts above sea level. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer Pooja at the temple itself. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage Asit Muni.

Yamuna is the daughter of the Sun just like Yama who is considered his son. It is believed that Yama would not torment any person at the time of death who bathes in Yamuna, his sister.

Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.

Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

Day 02:: Kharsali ( Helicopter ) – Harsil ( Car ) – Gangotri ( Car ) – Harsil

Dep Kharsali 08.00 AM Arrival at Harsil helipad 09.00pm . From Harsil we will proceed to Gangotri by car which will be arranged by us . Approximately time taken to travel by road about 30 km from Harsil to Gangotri is 1 hrs. Then visit the holy river Ganga and perform Ganga pooja, abhishek, pooja, aarti. Then come back to Harsil by car. Overnight halt at Harsil Retreat Resort in Harsil . Harsil is the most beautiful & picturesque site in Uttarakhand and is also known as mini Switzerland.

Uttarkashi - Uttarkashi is a small and beautiful town, situated between two rivers: Varuna and Ashi, whose water flow into the Bhagirathi from either side of the town. Elevated, at a height of 1588 metres, this little town is very similar to Kashi and Varanasi, in that it has the same kind of temples and ghats and likewise, a north or 'uttar' facing river. The major temple is the Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Two other very important temples are located in the Chowk area. These are the Annapurna Temple and the Bhairav Temple. Once, it is said, there were 365 temples here. Hiuen Tsang referred to this place as Brahma Pura, while the Skanda Puran has recorded it as Varunavata. It is believed that in the second millennium of Kaliyug, Kashi will be submerged, and Uttarkashi will replace it as an important religious centre.

Today's Sight - Gangotri, IInd of Chardham: Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. CHAR DHAM YATRA ( HELICOPTER ) – 2012 (04 N / 05D) Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great "Deva Yagna" here to a tone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.

Gangnani: Further up on way to Gangotri, is the hot water spring at Gangnani, where one can have refreshing bath in the kund called Rishikund. There is a temple near the kund dedicated to the Sage Parashar, believed to be the father of Ved Vyas.

Day 03:: Harsil ( Helicopter ) – Kedarnathji

In the the morning at 10.00 a.m. our Helicopter will be waiting to proceed for the holy darshan of Kedarnathji. Arrival at Kedarnathji by 11 – 12 am. Have pooja, abhishek and darshan of Lord Kedareshwar. The temple is at a walking distance from the helipad. We shall provide VIP darshan slips to the passengers. These slips are provided by the temple committee and the cost of each slip is Rs 1100. Night halt will be organised at Punjab Sindh Awas / Rajasthan House.

Today's Sight –
Kedarnathji Temple, IIIrd of Chardham: The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam - the main idol, a statue of Nandi - the celestial bull, a 'Garba Grah' for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Other Important Sights –
Shankaracharya Samadhi: The Samadhi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya is located just behind the Kedarnathji temple. It is said that after establishing four sacred Dhams in India, he went into his Samadhi at an early age of 32 years. The lake fascinates the visitors.

Bhaironath temple:
About half a kilometer away from Kedarnathji, a small temple is dedicated to Bhaironath. It is worshipped on the opening and closing day of Sri Kedarnathji Shrine. Ii is believed that when Kedarnathji temple is closed. Bhaironathji protects this land from evil.

Day 04:: Kedarnathji ( Helicopter ) - Badrinathji

Departure for Badrinathji at 12.00 noon by Helicopter and arrive at Badrinathji at 01.00 p.m., then proceed to Hotel Sarovar (the best property of Badrinathji). Check in & have a fresh & proceed to Badrinathji temple for holy darshan of Lord Badrinathji & come back to your Hotel. We shall provide transport for temple visit and local sight scenes up to Mana Village. Have your Lunch & take a rest or go for sight scenes .We shall provide special Abhishek Arti tickets for the early morning puja. Have wonderful Dinner & Goodnight to everyone Jai Badrivishal.

Today's Sight -
Badrinathjiji, 4th Dham of Uttarakhand's Chardham & only original Chardham as proposed by Adi Guru Shankaracharya: Aarti at Badrinathjiji.

Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines - Badrinathjiji along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with 'badris' or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was enable to withstand the force of its decent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinathjiji.

Badrinathjiji ji sightseeing; Narad Kund:
A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinathjiji idol was recovered. Brahama Kapal: It is a flat platform a few yards north of the temple and on the bank of river Alaknanda. It is an important place for shhradh ceremony or offering of pinds to ensure a heavenly place for dead ancestors or manes. It is said that offering pind here, the manes are permanently enshrined in heaven and no more pinds are to be done elsewhere ever afterwards. Legends have it that when Shiva chopped of the fifth head of Brahma, it got stuck to his trident. Lastly with the blessing of Lord Vishnu at Badrivan, the head of Brahma fell down from the trident at this place & hence the name Brahma-Kapal (head).

Sheshnetra :
It is a large block of stone between tow small seasonal lakes carrying an eye of "Sheshnag" The eye formation is quite natural, 1.5kms. away is a boulder having an impression of the legendary serpent, better known as the Sheshnag's eye, it is believed that the seshnag waits at this place patiently to accompany the lord on his reincarnation.

Mana Village:
Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet. The women of the village offer Choli to the deity on closing day of the temple each year.

Bhim Pul:
On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers. Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Day 05:: Badrinathji ( Helicopter ) – Dehradoon

We will have early morning darshan of Lord Badrinathjiji, perform pooja at 4.00 a.m. and come back to Hotel Sarovar, have a breakfast and then proceed towards Dehradoon. Departure at 01.00.p.m. arrival at Dehradoon by 02.00 pm.

Extra costs that may arise due to prolonged delays or postponement of flights due to fuel charges / technical reasons / acts of nature / riots / curfew / government regulations or any other conditions whatsoever, which are beyond the control of Hare Krishna Sri Dham Yatra and its associated devotees.
Personal expenses, tips and donations, insurance against loss of baggage, damage, theft of personal items/ belongings, medical expenses if any and emergency evacuation if any.
Govt Service Tax : 2.575 % .

Terms & Conditions :

The quality of accommodation available at Yamunotri and Kedarnathji is average and so passengers should not have very high expectations. However at Harsil and Badrinathji the accommodation standard is 3 star.
The helicopter will carry 4 passengers at a time.
Only 5 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted.Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there is very small baggage space inside helicopter.
Children above the age of 2 years will be considered as full ticket
There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens
The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount & balance amount has to be paid immediate on confirmation of services.
In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time and passengers are not able to visit one or more dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons then the company will try to visit all places within the stipulated time.Although if this is not possible then the liability of the company will be limited to refund of unutilised sector/s.
Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 20% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 7 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.

If passengers wish to cancel their booking then they will have to pay following cancellation charges :

Upto 7 days before journey	30% of charter amount
Upto 48 hours before journey	60 % of charter amount
Less than 48 hours before journey	85% of charter amount
Less than 24 hours before journey	NO REFUND

Yatris are joining the tour at their own risk. Management is not responsible for any loss or damage of life and property due to accident, natural calamity or local political disturbance during the tour.
Management reserves the right to change the program schedule.
Yatris should keep peace and give full co-operation to Management on tour and for any delay to reach any place in unavoidable circumstances.
If the Yatri's weight is more than 75Kg charges will be extra.
Extra costs that may arise due to prolonged delays or postonement of flights due to technical reasons / acts of nature / riots / curfew / government regulations or any other conditions whatsoever, which are beyond the control of Sun Holidays and its associated agents, that costs has to be borne by the guests.
Sun Holidays act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.
All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants' safety, comfort & general well being.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred - directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting - directly or indirectly - from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage’s & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.
Joining the tour automatically means that yatri agrees to abide and accept all terms and conditions of the tour.
This service is available on group basis of 4 passengers
The helicopter can carry a maximum of 4 passengers with total weight of 300 to 500kgs including baggage
Passengers would be allocated helicopter on the following criteria’s: On the first come first serve basis or On the basis of booking if arrival time for more than one group is same.
Passengers are advised not to carry heavy luggage as luggage cabin in helicopter is very small
The above package includes all transfers at all dhams (including pony at yamunotri )
The above package includes darshan assistance at all dhams although expenses for any special puja will have to be borne by the passengers.
Any additional night stay will attract extra charge.
Full amount has to be deposited before 25 days start of journey or on confirmation of services as the case may be .

Important Notes:

All extras (F&B and any other services) availed by the customer will be on direct payment basis
In case of odd number groups, the extra person shall be accommodated in the same room with an extra bed / mattress.

Any Meals , services not utilized , partly utilized are non refundable .

Special Notes: We strongly advise to keep a provision of 1extra days to overcome any delays.:

Due to the nature of travel, there is always the possibility of change in the schedule. The Tour Operator or its associates shall not be liable for any such delays .
We or our associate agents have the right to change the Itinerary in the event of adverse weather condition or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
The group will be required to follow the itinerary strictly. The entire Group will enter & exit together as per schedule.
In case of adverse weather conditions or technical snags with the helicopter, there could be a possibility of helicopter being un-operation for a couple o days, under such circumstances, every effort shall be made to provide them lodging / boarding etc. and the best available efforts shall be made to make alternate arrangements if possible however under such circumstances, all additional charges (if any) shall be borne by the guests.

Still cameras, home video cameras are allowed in Himalayas but only inside the temple not allowed.

Responsibility:-
All arrangements within Chardham Yatra, reserves the right to change itineraries without prior notice, depending on the weather and road condition.

Fitness:-
Please start to get in shape NOW!!! A good 15 minutes walk, jogging daily, stretching and regular exercise should put you in the right shape (Concentrate on your heart & legs - Aerobics). Porters will be carrying the bulk of your equipment, but it is recommended that you bring a good day pack and are fit enough to carry snacks, filled water bottle/small scissors and knife, waterproof matches, safety pins, Thermometer, Lighter, Dehydration salt (electoral) packets, Neoprene Powder and cream. Heat balm for muscles/joints, Vicksinhaler/vapourub, Chopsticks. Dry Fruits/snacks, camera, Film, Map, Jumper, Sun Hat, First Aid Kit, Light weight Rain Gear, Extra Cloth etc.

Attitude Sickness:-
This is an environment related condition that can effect anyone who ascends too rapidly to high elevations without acclimatizing properly. Suggested to read any book on trekking, which has a chapter on this, and also consult your doctor

Health Consideration:-
All Tourist We do ask you to bring along your own small first aid kit (available at Pharmacies). Some of the items we ask you to bring in the kit are:

Antiseptic cream or Wound disinfectant: Iodine and tube-squeeze cream.
Foot care and Blister Treatment, band-aids, adhesive roll & strips, gauze pads, moleskin. (please bring ankle high boots to avoid muscle sprain.)
Antibiotics: (Triethoprim/sulfamethoxazole - Bacterium DS or Septran DS
Anti - Inflammatory:
Avil, Brufen or Mortin. Aspirin / Tylenol or general painkillers.
Strong sunscreen oil, skin antibiotic cream.

Insurance:
We recommend that you insure yourself against sickness, EMERGENCY RESCUE, accident hospitalization, etc.. We are not liable and responsible for any damages or extra expenses that may arise from mishaps and the loss of their belongings during the pilgrimage. On request we may liason for such services between you and the insurance company .

Clothing’s:
Clothing’s for both extremes of climate and temperature. While driving to Chardham Yatra, it will be warm inside the vehicle and light clothing will be required, but as soon as you step out of the vehicle, warm clothing will be required to keep off the cold winds of the Himalayas. Evening will be generally cold and warm clothing will be required We recommend that you bring along the following clothings and accessories with you:

One oxygen cylinder on rental / buy (Rs. 100 to 800) per day with mask will be provided to you if required. Please note that oxygen is to be used only in case of emergency.
